Install

• Go to download page: https://www.python.org/downloads/

• Click on the Download button for the latest version.

• Click on Source Release. (Download XZ compressed source tarball)

• Move files to install location.

• Context Menu > Extract > Extract here.

• Rename folder to python.

• Navigate into newly created folder.

• Context Menu > Open Terminal Here

• Type command “./configure –enable-optimizations”

• Type command “make”

• Type command “make buildbottest”

• Type command “sudo make install”

• ./python

• import sys

• print(sys.path)
